I love people. People are so rad. You know what makes me love people even more? When they are kind. Kind people are the BEST. I feel like we don’t talk enough about how important it is to be kind so yay now is the time!

Here’s the thing about kindness, it costs absolutely nothing to give! Yep, you heard me right..it is 100% free. It is a gift that everyone can afford..so why wouldn’t you be throwing it around like confetti? (duh) I think that people often forget that kindness is free & you know what else…you won’t regret it. No one really ever regrets being kind. When was the last time you heard someone say, “Aw..I really wish I hadn’t made that person’s day.” If you’re like me, it was probably never.

I heard this quote once that said, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” Never have I ever heard words that ring so true. We are blessed to live in a world where just about anything is possible. A world where innovation is booming, & creativity is key, but for whatever reason we seem to be majorly lacking in kindness. It’s astounding really. Just think..if we all treated each other, our environment, & our surroundings with just a little bit more kindness the world would be a much more beautiful place.

So here is my challenge to you…be kind, always. Start with at least one random act of kindness a day, buy coffee for the stranger behind you in line, help the parent with their stroller on the subway stairs, hold a door open, leave a note of encouragement on someone’s windshield…it doesn’t matter what you do, but do it with kindness. Do it with a warm heart, it can make a world of difference. Trust me.
