“Trust the wait. Embrace the uncertainty. Enjoy the beauty of becoming. When nothing is certain, anything is possible.”

I don’t know about you, but I find change to be beautiful. Yes..at times it is frustrating, and waiting is hard. I am definitely guilty of becoming impatient all too quickly. We live in this crazy world of instant gratification, where people feel there is no longer a need for patience…everything is available to them right at their fingertips..I digress, that is a post for another day. But at the end of it all, I think that change is a beautiful thing..putting off the old, and embracing (sometimes with hesitation) the new. With change comes creation, a new season, a time for growth & opportunity. Now, it doesn’t go without saying that change can be painful; however, NOTHING is as painful as staying somewhere you do not belong. Did you get that? I’ll say it one more time for the readers who haven’t had their coffee yet..NOTHING is as painful as staying somewhere you do not belong. We are called to live great, full lives. We were created to thrive in life.

The definition of thrive according to Merriam-Webster is to “grow vigorously: flourish.” So, how can we thrive if we are not willing to grow & change? The answer is simple, we can’t. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but I think that it’s really important we shed a little light on this topic. You’re not going to get anywhere if you are not willing to face change. Now, what that change is will be different to everyone..whether that applies to an attitude, job, relationship, health, education, etc. We have to embrace change in order to grow, and we need to grow in order to thrive. I don’t know about you, but I sure do want to flourish in this life.

So here it is folks…

Be patient, with yourself & others. Take a risk. Give change a chance. Dream BIG. You never know what magical opportunity lies just around the corner. AND whatever you do, DON’T STOP NOW! This is only the beginning.
