just a spoonful of sugar

So much has happened in the past few weeks and I have started so many posts but just never had the time to finish them, so here is an overview of them all. This post will be somewhat like a salad, just a bunch of things from my life thrown together! For starters, about 4 weeks ago we lost our beloved dog Cosmo to a mountain lion, right in our backyard. I was in rehearsal when it happened but from what I was told, it happened in a matter of 5 minutes. No one heard or saw anything, he didn’t yelp or cry. There was nothing that anyone could have done to stop it from happening. That really opened my eyes up to the fact that life is short. & sometimes shit happens and there is just nothing that anyone can do to prevent that from happening. Although it was a very devastating and traumatic experience for my family, it also taught me that there is no need to be sad forever. So last weekend we got a puppy! A nameless puppy, my family cannot seem to agree on a name. Nevertheless, he has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives!

Sometimes, I really just wish that time would slow down! I literally feel like I just had auditions for Saddleback College’s production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas yesterday..but no, our show opens next week!!! I seriously cannot believe that it is already here! Everyone in this cast is so crazy talented!! For those of you who reside in Orange County, CA. You must come see this show, it is going to be amazing! [Lets be real, I wouldn’t reference it in my blog if I didn’t think it was going to be great.] Performances will be held in the McKinny Theater at Saddleback College on April 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 at 7:30pm & April 6, 13 at 2:30pm.
